Supply, Government of West Bengal.

It is the contention of the petitioner that the vacancy was declared within the operational area of the petitioner.

He further submits that the notification was issued under provisions West Bengal Public Distribution System (Maintenance & Control) Order, 2013 which after promulgation of 2015 Control Order is became redundant.

He further submits that the Hon’ble Division Bench in a batch of appeals being no. MAT 1543 of 2024 have passed an interim order directing the State not to dealing any ration card from existing M.R. dealer or not detagg any ration dealer from any distibutor till date.

He further submits that the respondent authority shall follow the direction of the Hon’ble Division Bench and may be directed not to detagg any of DRC’S from petitioner’s M.R. Shop.
