Court affirms that police investigation progress renders further judicial direction unnecessary.

R e The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that since there was a dispute with the private respondents in respect of a property which was sold by him, the private respondent took the law in his hand and subjected the petitioner to physical assault including other offences.

Information, to that effect, was furnished before the police authorities, but, no action was taken by the police authorities.

Mr. Sen, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the State submits a report and draws the attention of the Court to a specific paragraph wherein it has been contended that Panskura P.S. Case No. 515 of 2025 dated 06.06.2025 has been registered for investigation on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner.

Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps, further directions of this Court is unwarranted.

However, the police authorities are directed to put in efforts to take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 11618 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
