1. There are some typographical error in the paragraph 2 of the order dated 12.06.2025. The first sentence of paragraph 2 shall read as follows:
“This writ petition was filed espousing the case of sex workers. In fact in a public interest litigation filed by one Budhadev Karmaskar in Budhadev Karmaskar Vs State of West Bengal 1 an order was passed in 2013 in which the scope and purpose for which the panel was thought of and
1 2013 (1) SCC 294 considered in terms of an earlier order filed by Budhadev Karmaskar in Harshendra Kumar D Vs Rebatilata Koley 2 was clarified, the purpose was to lay down the conditions conducive for sex workers to live with dignity in accordance with the provisions of Article 21 of the Constitution of India which, however, should not be construed as encouraging fleshed.”
2. This bifurcated sentence should replace the first sentence in paragraph 2 and shall be incorporated in the order dated 12th June, 2025.
