1. The writ petitioner, the private respondents and the substituted respondent no. 9 are represented by their respective Counsels.

2. None appears on behalf of the respondent/State.

3. Mr. Halder, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the substituted respondent no. 9 submits before this Court that correct name of the substituted respondent no. 9 is Rosna Begum instead of Rosenara Begum. In support of his contention a photocopy of Aadhaar Card of the substituted respondent no. 9 is filed which is taken on record.

4. In view of such, the department is once again directed to delete the name of deceased respondent no. 9, Sayeeda Bibi and in its place the name of the substituted respondent no. 9, Rosna Begum be inserted.

5. Learned Advocate-on-Record for the writ petitioner is hereby requested to supply a copy of the instant writ petition to Mr. Halder positively within two working days from today.

6. For ends of justice this Court is not inclined to take up the matter in absence of the respondent/State.

7. Let the matter be listed on July 30, 2025 under the same heading with the mark 2.00 p.m.

8. Learned Advocate-on-Record for the writ petitioner is hereby requested to intimate the next date of hearing to the learned Advocate for the respondent/State by issuing a notice in writing and to file the receipted copy of such notice on the adjourned date.

9. In the event none appears on behalf of the respondent/State on the adjourned date the instant matter would be taken up in absence of the respondent/State.

10. Department is hereby directed to forward a copy of this order to the Chamber of the Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal, 1st Floor, Writers’ Buildings, Kolkata – 700001 and to submit a compliance report with regard to such service positively on or before the adjourned date.

11. The learned Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal is hereby requested to ensure that the State is represented in connection with the instant matter on the adjourned date.
