The petitioners are directed to hand over a copy of the writ petition to Mr. Soumen Chatterjee, learned advocate for the State. Learned advocate for the State would, in course of the day, through Police Station (formerly known as Anandapore Police Station) effect service upon the respondent nos. 5 and 6 respectively. It should also be brought to the notice of the respondent nos. 5 and 6 that the writ petition will be heard on
17th July, 2025 at 1.15 pm.
This is in addition to the communication which has been enclosed as an Annexure by Mr. Ahamed, learned advocate for the petitioner, wherein, it has been claimed that by way of e-mail, a copy has been sent to the respondent nos. 5 and 6 respectively.
In case, the private respondent nos. 5 and 6 are not available on the next date so fixed, this court would proceed with the merits of the writ petition by hearing the Petitioner as well as the Learned Advocate General who is appearing on behalf of the State.
Let a report be furnished before this Court on 17th July, 2025 by the Station (formerly known as Anandapore Police Station) regarding acknowledgement of receipt of the writ petition.
List the writ petition on 17th July, 2025 at 1.15 under the same heading.
