1. This is an application filed on behalf of the near relatives of the deceased appellant Krishna Kanta Mukherjee who was convicted by the learned Judge, Special Court (P.C. Act) & Additional Sessions Judge, 4th Court, Krishnagar in connection with Special Case No. 2 of 2002 in which the deceased appellant was found guilty for commission of offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and was sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for one year along with fine of Rs. 2,000/- in default to undergo further rigorous imprisonment for 6 months.
2. Nobody is present to represent the State in this case.
3. Mr. Binay Kumar Panda, learned Advocate who usually appears on behalf of the State is requested to represent State in this case. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned department.
4. Department is directed to communicate this order to the learned legal Remembrancer at once.
