By filing this Criminal Revisional application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as ‘CrPC’), the petitioners have prayed for quashing of the proceeding being Complaint Case No. C-6501 of 2013 filed under Sections 138/141 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (hereinafter referred to as ‘N.I. Act’) pending before the Court of the Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 15th Court at Calcutta.
