1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is

taken on record.

2. By the present writ petition the petitioner being the

widowed daughter of the deceased Ex. Assistant Teacher seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to disburse the family pension in her

favour.

3. The petitioner contends that she is the widowed

daughter of late Bankim Chandra Bhowmick, Ex. Assistant Teacher in Purba Dakhin Moyna Primary School, P.O.-Moyna, District-Purba Medinipur. The deceased father of the petitioner superannuated on 31^st January, 2001 and died on 13^th June, 2011. The petitioner’s father was granted monthly pension. Upon the death of her father the petitioner made representation for grant of family pension in her favour. However, till date no such steps have been

taken towards grant of family pension in favour of the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.
