1. Writ petition is finally heard today in presence of the learned advocates

representing the parties.

2. Two petitioners applied in terms of Recruitment Notification dated 29th September, 2022 issued by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (for short, ‘Board’) for being appointed as primary teachers. Petitioners submitted applications offering their candidature by disclosing B.Ed as their teacher training qualification. By presenting this writ petition petitioners have prayed for direction which would permit them to be treated as candidate having D.El.Ed (ODL) qualification on completing programme through National Institute of Open Schooling (for short, ‘NIOS’).
