petitioner and the Union of India.

2. Mr. Dhiraj Trivedi, learned Deputy Solicitor General has placed before this Court a communication dated 7^th January, 2026 signed on behalf of IGP WBS CRPF, Kolkata and same is taken on record.

3. Copy of the communication dated 7^th January, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner.

4. It is submitted on behalf of the Union of India on placing reliance upon the communication dated 7^th January, 2026 that there is no provision for filling up the post of Constable (G.D.) under Central Armed Police Forces (for short, ‘CAPFs’)
