Mr. Bhaskar Mukherjee Ms. Debdeetta Dutta …for the respondent no.2 The present appeal has been preferred challenging inter alia an order dated 18th February, 2026 passed by the learned single Judge in two writ petitions being WPA 24155 of 2025 and WPA 940 of 2026 upon hearing the same analogously.
Mr. Sarkar, learned advocate appearing for the appellant submits that even after arriving at a finding that the writ petitioner/appellant had appeared for make-up examinations earlier and that his attendance was 60%, the learned single Judge erred in law in examination pertaining to Term-VI of the course.
He further submits that the authorities are going to hold the Term-VI examination for the other students of the batch, being the 61st batch, on and from 23rd February, 2024 and in the event the appellant, who is a person with disability (schizophrenia), is not allowed to participate in the same, he would suffer irreparable loss.
