1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.
2. By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks for direction upon the respondent authorities to disburse interest on arrear family pension amount from 28th November, 2022 till the date of actual payment.
3. The petitioner contends that her father, late Abinash Chandra Majhi was an Assistant Teacher in the Srikantha (old) Primary School under Moyna Circle, District Purba Medinipur. The father of the petitioner retired from service on superannuation on 30th June, 1997 and died on 10th August, 2009. The pension was issued to the father of the petitioner. Upon demise of the father, the family pension was granted to the mother of the petitioner viz. Rukmini Majhi who died on 2nd August, 2022. The petitioner’s husband died on 27th November, 2022.
