1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.
2. By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities for disbursement of interest on arrear family pension amount from the date of entitlement till the date of actual payment together with interest @ 18% per annum.
3. The petitioner contends that her father was an approved Assistant Teacher of Netra High Msdrasah at P.O. Netra, District South 24-Parganas. The petitioner’s father retired from service on superannuation on 31st August, 2006 and expired on 23rd June, 2020. The petitioner’s mother pre-deceased her father and died on 10th June, 2020. The petitioner is unmarried daughter of the deceased teacher. In terms of Government Circular dated 13th April, 2010 the Pension Payment Order was issued in favour of the petitioner on 17th October, 2023. The arrear family pension was issued on 1st November, 2023,
