The petitioner is a student of Midnapore College, Mathematics Department, and is aggrieved by the conduct of the Police Authorities, particularly with regard to their act and actions. She alleged that on March 03, 2025, at around 9.30 A.M., she was present at the premises of Midnapore College to express her support for a student strike called by the Students’ Federation of India (SFI), which according to her, was a peaceful protest against the events of March 01, 2025 relating to incidents which happened at Jadavpur University.
