2. The instant appeal had been filed against the judgment and award dated 18.01.2024 passed by the Learned Additional District Judge, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, 2^nd Court, Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman in M.A.C. Case No. 70/2016.

An application under Section 163A of the Motor Vehicles Act had been filed on account of the death of the parents of the victim in an accident at Galsi National Highway in front of Punjab National Bank which occurred on 12.01.2016 at about 4:00 P.M. with the involvement of the offending vehicle (Maruti Wagnor) bearing registration no.
