01.Learned Counsel for the applicants submits that the applicants are aggrieved by Order No. 154/DS/JK/2021 dated 12-07-2021, issued by Respondent No. 2, whereby a suspension period of the applicants i.e. from 05-06-2020 to 12-07-2021 has been ordered to be treated as leave on the basis of recommendations of the Enquiry Officer.
02.He further submits that an FIR No. 29/2020, under Sections 341, 427, and 506 IPC, was registered against the applicants in 2020. The applicants were facing trial for these offenses until 19-02-2024, when they were convicted by the Judicial Magistrate (Judge Small Causes) Srinagar for the offense punishable under Section 341 IPC and were sentenced to simple imprisonment for a period of 15 days and a fine of Rs. 300/- each. In the said judgment, the applicants were acquitted of the offenses under Sections 427 and 506 IPC. Subsequently, the applicants filed a conviction appeal before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar, and in terms of the judgment dated 10-06-2024, they were acquitted of the offense under Section 341 IPC, and the sentence imposed upon them by the earlier judgment dated 19-02-2024 was
