1. The Petitioners in the present petitions seek initiation of contempt proceedings against respondents 1 to 3 for alleged disobedience violation of order dated 23.08.2024 passed in OA 925/2024, OA 937/2024, OA 1011/2024, OA 1095/2024 along with order dated 12.06.2024 passed in OA No. OA 77/2020 & OA No. 103/2020, connected petitions and thereby committing contempt under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 .

2. The petitioners had filed OA averring therein that they came to be engaged as Lecturer/Teaching Assistant on academic arrangement in Higher Education Department in different years, some of them as far as 15 years back, on the basis of selection made by the Nodal Principal.

3. During the session 2019-20, the Government issued new guidelines in terms of Government Order dated 17.02.2020, by virtue of which, the terms and conditions under which the petitioners were appointed in tune with the policy of Government earlier in point of time were being changed/ modified and they were sought to be replaced/ substituted with new candidates on similar arrangement, so they filed OAs before this Tribunal for quashing new guidelin
