The present OA has been filed under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 seeking direction to the respondents to appoint the present applicant based on the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) (Non Technical) examination2016.

2. The factual matrix of the present case is as follows:

2.1 The respondents came out with an advertisement for the post of MTS (Non Technical) on 31.12.2016. The present applicant applied for the said post. He appeared for Paper I examination on 10.10.2017 and after successfully clearing Paper I examination, he appeared for Paper II examination on 28.01.2018. He was called for document verification on 3.03.2018. Vide notification dated 12.04.2018, the respondents intimated the applicant that a Special Committee has been formed for the purpose of examining the handwriting, signature and photograph taken during Paper I, Paper II and document verification of various candidates including the present applicant. The respondents uploaded the result of the said examination for 220 candidates and the name of the applicant did not figure amongst the successful candidates.
