By Hon’ble Mr. Rajinder Kashyap, Member (A):-

The applicant has filed present Original Application under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act .1985, seeking the following relief(s) as per para 8 of the OA:-

“(a) Quash and set aside orders/decisions regarding withdrawal and denial of Dress Allowance by the respondents to the applicants,

(b) Consequently, order and direct the respondents to:

i) Refund the Dress Allowance recovered from the applicants alongwith interest at rate admissible in General Provident Fund (GPF).

(ii) Resume payment of the Dress Allowance to the applicants, which is payable in continuation of the allowance paid earlier, [noted at (i)] as contemplated in Govt. of India OMs dated 02.08.2017 and 31.08.2017 alongwith interest at the rate admissible in GPF, on the arrears.

(c) Order the respondents to continue to pay the aforesaid allowance till the date(s) of retirement/demise of the applicants.

(d) Pass any other order or direction as deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice in favour of the applicant .”
