ORDER
1. I uphold the findings of the DA holding that the charges levelled against Shri G. P. Meena, Preventive Officer, Customs, Kandla, in charge memorandum dated 22.07.2012 from F. No. S/10(A) (CON)- 04/2011 has been proved.
2. It is ordered that the pay of Shri G. P. Meena, Preventive Officer, Customs, Kandia, be reduced by 02 (Two) stages under Rule 11(v) of CCS(CCA) Rules, 1965 for the period of 01 (One) year. It is further directed that Shri G. P. Meena, Preventive Officer, Customs, Kandla, will not earn increments of pay during the period of reduction and that on the expiry of the above period, the reduction will not have the effect of postponing his future Increments of pay.”
12.2 It can be seen that the Appellate Authority had dealt with each points raised by the applicant in his appeal and had assigned cogent reasons to disagree with the submissions of the applicant and while upholding the decision of the Disciplinary Authority. Therefore, it is not correct on the part of the applicant to allege that the Appellate Authority had passed the impugned order in a mechanical manner.
