ORDER
Present OA has been filed by the applicant seeking employment on compassionate grounds. The father of the applicant was a Group-D employee with the respondents, who diedon 21.04.2018. The mother of the applicant submitted anapplication dated 04.07.2018 (Annexure A-1) for compassionate appointment of her son, the present applicant. The respondentsvide their letter dated 29.05.2018 (Annexure-A-4) sought certain documents from the mother of the applicant, which was submittedby the applicant vide her communication dated 14.08.2018. Thereafter, she reminded the respondents for compassionate appointment of her son, the present applicant, from time to time.
The last communication from the respondents is dated 11.01.2020 vide which the respondents have informed that the matter is under consideration. The latest representation of the applicant is dated04.09.2023 (Annexure A-7). Learned counsel for the applicant states that the representations for compassionate appointment of the applicant are still pending with the respondents for consideration.
2.Issue notice. Ms. Annu Singh, learned counsel who appears for the respondents on advance service accepts notice. She submits that she will seek instructions from the respondents regarding pending representations of the mother of the applicant.
3. On perusal of the records of the case shows that a series of representations submitted by the applicant are still pending for final decision at the level of various competent authorities. Thelatest representation is dated 04.09.2023. In view of this, it will be appropriate that the competent authority amongst the respondents will take necessary decision in a time bound manner regarding pending representations of the mother of the applicant for compassionate appointment of the present applicant.

In view of above, without going into the merits of the case and with the consent of learned counsels for the parties, present OA is disposed of at the admission stage itself with direction to the respondents to consider the aforesaid pending representations of the applicant and pass a reasoned and speaking order thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
5. The OA is disposed of in the above manner. No order as to costs.
