CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL
Maniram – Appellant
Versus
North Central Railway – Respondent
ORDER
By Hon’ble Mr. Tarun Shridhar, Member (A) By way of the instant OA, the appointment in accordance with the provisions of LARSGESS Scheme has been sought in favour of the applicant no. 2, who is the daughter of the applicant no. 1. Learned counsel for the applicants draws our attention to paragraph nos. 4.7 and
4.8 of his OA whereby he has strongly contested the stand taken by the respondents to consider the applicant ineligible on the ground that the applicant no. 2 is a married daughter of the applicant no. 1 and does not fall under the definition of family member of applicant no. 1. Learned counsel for the applicant points out that this cannot be a ground of rejection of the claim of the applicants. He further points out that it has been two years since the applicant no. 1 has retired but the benefit of LARSGESS Scheme has not been accorded to him or his daughter.
2. Learned counsel for the respondents at this stage strongly rebuts the arguments of the learned counsel for the applicants and submits that the scope of LARSGESS Scheme is very limited and married daughter does not fall under the definition of family member of the applicant no. 1.
