Learned counsel for the applicants submits that ‘Followers’ engaged with the Police Department in the year 1989 onwards are getting pay in the grade of Rs.2550-2600 with Grade Pay Rs.1300 (revised as Rs.14,800-47,100) whereas the followers subsequently engaged in 2016 onwards are getting Rs.4400-7300 with Grade Pay of Rs.1400/- (revised as Rs.15,900-50,400). He submits that application be disposed of in the light of the judgment of Division Bench of Hon’ble High Court in LPA No. 06/2020 (Mohammad Rafiq Wani & Ors. –vs- UT of J&K & Ors.) dated 20.8.2020 by which respondent No.2 was directed to consider the case of the applicants in the light of the communication dated 10.3.2020. He further submits that it will suffice if a direction is given to the respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the claim of the applicants in the light of the judgment of Hon’ble High Court dated 20.8.2020 and in the light of the communication of the DGP dated 10.3.2020 within a stipulated time.

3. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant, respondent No.2 is dir
