1. This O.A has been filed under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 for issuance of direction to the respondents to grant Patient Care Allowance to the applicants, which has been allowed in the case of similarly situated employees. The applicants sought for the following reliefs:

“a) Issue direction to the respondents to grant Patient Care Allowance to the applicants, which has been allowed in the case of similarly situated employees working in the respondent institute from the due date with arrears thereon with interest @ 18% p.a. on the basis of the judgment of this Hon'ble Tribunal dated 17.08.2012/11.09.2012 delivered in OA No. 147/HP/2012 titled as Jitender Singh & Ors Vs. Union of India and others as up held by Hon'ble H.P. High Court in C.W.P. No.4793 of 2013 decided on 2.5.2017 titled as Union of India and others Vs. Jitender Singh and others, and in O.As no. 063/00852/2018, 63/00972/2018, 63/00853/2018, 063/00854/2018, 063/00886/2018, 063/00887/2018. The applicants are claiming the benefits of the above judgments.”
