1. This is the case of appointment on compassionate ground. Applicant no. 1, Smt. Neera Orhaw is the widow of late Tapan Kumar Orhaw who was an employee of Metal & Steel Factory, Ichapur and who died on 27/4/2006. Applicant no. 2, Dibakar Orhaw is the son of late Tapan Kumar Orhaw.
2. After the death of the ex-employee, applicant no. 1had submitted representations to the General Manager, Metal & Steel Factory; Ichapur seeking appointment on compassionate ground in favour of her son i.e. applicant no. 2 vide her letter dated 12/6/2007.The Deputy General Manager Administration, Metal & Steel Factory, Ichapur informed, the applicants vide letter dated 22.03.2017 that they have been awarded 40 points based on 100 points scale which would be taken into consideration for comparative assessment of merit of vario
