This Original Application has been filed by the applicants seeking regularization of their promotion as Supervisors under the Anganwadi Workers’ scheme, with retrospective effect from 2018, when they were temporarily appointed as In-charge Supervisors. The applicants contend that they have met all the eligibility criteria for promotion, having served as Anganwadi Workers for the requisite period and having acquired the necessary educational qualifications. They argue that the delay in regularizing their promotion has caused significant financial prejudice and that they are entitled to retrospective promotion from the date they became eligible for the position.
