The applicants, who are the erstwhile employee of Bank Note Press, are aggrieved that they have not been granted the upgraded pay scale of Rs.4500-7000/- on implementation of the recommendations of the 5th CPC.

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings and the documents available on record.

3. The issue of jurisdiction of this Tribunal over the Bank Note Press has already been considered by this Tribunal in the matters of Bank Note Press Anusuchit Jati vs. Union of India, Original Application No.878 of 2012 decided on 12.10.2012, wherein it has been observed that BNP, Dewas has been merged in the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited w.e.f.10.02.2006 and since the Corporation has not yet been notified under Section 14(2) of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, this Tribunal has no jurisdiction.

4. We find that no notification has yet been issued extending the jurisdiction of this Tribunal over the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited. Thus, this Tribunal does not have any jurisdiction to entertain the service disputes of the employees of BNP, as Page 2 of 3 ANUPAMA NUPAM held by this Tribunal in the matter of Bank Note Press Anusuchit Jati (supra).

5. Accordingly, both these Original Applications are not maintainable in terms of the provisions of Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. However, the applicants are granted liberty to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law for redressal of their grievances.

6. In the result, both these Original Applications are dismissed with liberty as aforesaid.
