1. The applicant has filed the present Original Application under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 seeking the following reliefs:

a) To quash the Order No: 05/2016 vide C. No. lI/39/09/2009 A.3 B-III B-V Pt file dated 29-12-2016 issued by the Disciplinary Authority imposing a major penalty on the applicant of “reduction by 11 stages in the time scale of pay for 3 years, with a further direction that she will not earn increments during the period of reduction, and the reduction will have the effect of postponing her future increments”.

b) To quash the Order No.5/2018 vide C. No. II/ 10A/ 01/ 2017/ C.C.CEX. (BZ) dated 18-12-2018 of the Appellate Authority vide which the penalty imposed by the Disciplinary Authority has been reduced to “reduction by 3 stages in the time scale of pay for three years with a further direction that she will not earn increments during the period of reduction, and the reduction will have the effect of postponing her future increments”.
