1. This Original Application has been filed under Section 19 of the A.T. Act , 1985 against Annexure –II of order No. 56-02/2016-Pers (DPC) dated 31.12.2019 (Annexure A-1) whereby the respondent BSNL has while issuing the final seniority list of cadre of Sub- Divisional Engineer (Telecom) has excluded the names of applicants from Annexure-I of the said final seniority list and has placed their names in separate Annexure-II with remarks against their names as “NOTICE ISSUED/UNDER DISPUTED”.

2. By filing the present Original Application, the applicants have sought that the impugned Annexure- II of final seniority list dated 31.12.2019 (A-1) qua applicants be quashed/set aside and directions in the nature of mandamus be issued to the respondents to treat the applicants in fulfilling the requisite eligibility criteria for appearing in LDCE 2007 for promotion to the cadre of SDE (T) and subsequently to remove the names of the applicants from Annexure-II of final seniority list dated 31.12.2019 and place their names at their appropriate position in Annexure-I of seniority list dated 31.12.2019 (A-1).
