Raghuvanshi, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. Mahendra Prasad Mishra, learned counsel for the respondents.
2. The instant Original Application under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 has been filed for quashing the impugned order dated 30.11.2016 passed by the Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, Gorakhpur- respondent 2 and further for direction to conduct the Police Verification and Medical Examination of the applicant regarding Group ‘D’ Examination conducted on 11.11.2014 by Railway Recruitment Cell, Gorakhpur and in case the applicant is finally selected, the respondent may be directed to issue an appointment letter to the applicant forthwith.
3. It reflects from the record that the applicant was a candidate in the recruitment conducted by Railway Recruitment Cell, Gorakhpur for filling Group ‘D’ post vide Notification No. NER/RRC/D/04/2013-14 dated 24.08.2013. As per the aforesaid notification the recruitment was conducted in four stages which is as under:
A. Written Examination, B. Physical Efficiency Test, C. Document Verification, D. Medical
