O R D E R

The instant Original Application has been filed by the applicants under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 making therein the following prayer: -

“Direct the respondents to make promotion to the next higher post of Panchayat Inspector, strictly as per the final seniority list issued by the respondent no. 1 vide no. 161-DRDJ of 2023 dated 02.05.2023 and promote the present applicants as Panchayat Inspectors as per their seniority position.”

3. Learned counsel for the applicants further submitted that the applicants would be satisfied, and it would meet the ends of justice if this Original Application is disposed of with the direction to the Respondents to treat this O.A. as representation of the applicants and decide the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a stipulated period of time.

4. Mr. Dewakar Sharma, learned D.A.G. appearing on behalf of the respondents is not averse to such a suggestion as made above by the applicants counsel.

5. Considering the above submissions, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the present Original Application without expressing opinion on the merits of the case, directing the Respondents to treat a copy this O.A.
