ORDER

Per Mr. Anindo Majumdar, Administrative Member :

1. The applicant has filed this application seeking the following relief(s) :

“(a) An order do issue directing the respondent authority to set aside, cancel and/or rescind the Charge Sheet vide Memo No. F4-1/Balijuri/05-06

(b) An order do issue directing the respondent to quash, set aside the Punishment Order issued by the Disciplinary Authority dated 14.11.2011;

(c) An order do issue directing the respondent to set aside the Appellate Order issued by Director of Postal services on 24.09.2013;

(d) And to pass such other order or orders, direction or directions as Your Lordships may deem fit and proper.”

2. The background of the case is that a fraud to the tune of Rs. 4,00,320.55/- was detected in Balijuri Post Office during the period May, 1995 to April, 2005 and one Shri Ashok Kumar Banerjee who was identified as principal offender was proceeded under Rule 10 of GDS (Conduct & Engagement) Rules, 2001 on 18.11.2005 and finally punished with removal from service on 31.10.2008. In addition, 7 (seven) subsidiary offenders (including the applicant in the instant case), were identified during the course of investigation into the fraud case
