ORAL ORDER

The applicants 30 in number have challenged the order dated 02nd March, 2023 thereby rejecting the relief of pay scale of Rs.5500 – 9000/-.
2. The grievance of the applicants is that they were working in the technical cadre in Naval Dockyard. On 01st January, 1996 the applicants were working as Senior Chargeman. The post of Senior Chargeman is entitled to draw pay scale of Rs.5500-9000/-. At the time of recommendations of fourth CPC, the Senior Chargeman were drawing the pay scale of 400 to 700 which was increased to 1400 to 2300 consequent upon the acceptance of the fourth CPC. The recommendations of Fifth CPC were accepted and the pay scale of Senior Chargeman came to be enhanced to Rs.5000-8000/- in Naval Dockyard. Whereas in respect of Senior Chargeman in Naval Armament Supply Organization (NASO), the pay scale is Rs.5500-9000. The applicants being Senior Chargeman are claiming the pay scale of Rs.5500-9000/-.
