Per Hon’ble Mr. Rajinder Singh Dogra, J.M.

The applicants being aggrieved of their non-selection as Driver in the respondent department under RBA category approached the Hon’ble High Court in SWP No. 555 of 2013. After the promulgation of the J&K Reorganization Act, 2019 and the formation of UT of J&K, the case was made over to this Tribunal where it was re-numbered as TA 4163/2021. The applicants have prayed for the following relief :

i) Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the merit and experience of the applicants for selection against the two available posts of Drivers under the RBA category in the Health Department in District Cadre, Doda.

ii) Certiorari quashing the decision of the respondents for not filling up the two posts of Drivers under the RBA category in the Health Department in District Cadre Doda.

iii) Mandamus directing the respondents to produce the entire record of the selection process pertaining to the filling up of posts of Drivers under the RBA category in the Health Department in District Cadre, Doda.

iv) Any other additional or alternate writ, order or direction in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be issued in favour of the applic
