1. Background and Submissions:

1.1. The applicant, by way of the present Original Application (in short O.A.) has sought the issuance of appropriate directions to the respondents for allowing him to join the services as a Constable pursuant to Selection Order No. 867 of 2023 dated 14.03.2023. Additionally, the applicant has prayed for a direction upon Respondent Nos. 4 and 5, who are the concerned school authorities, to furnish his academic particulars, including his date of birth, to Respondent No. 3 so that the process of verification may be duly completed.

1.2. The applicant was previously serving as a Special Police Officer (SPO) in the Police Department of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and was in active service till the year 2023. Thereafter, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, recommended and nominated him for appointment as Constable vide Selection Order No. 867/2023 dated 14.03.2023.
