Per: Mr. Anindo Majumdar, Administrative Member:
The applicant has filed this Original Application, seeking the following relief(s):
“a) Direction upon the respondent no. 2 to consider the representation dated 23.09.2024 & 18.04.2025 and upon consideration call letters for the appointment under land loser quota may be issued.
b) Production of records;
c) Any other order or orders as this Hon'ble Tribunal may deems fit & proper.”
2. Ld. Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant had earlier filed representations dated 23.09.2024 to the Divisional Railway Manager, South Eastern Railway, Kharagpur praying for providing employment in favour of his son, Sandip Pramanik under Land Loser category in respect of the Deshpran Nandigram Special Railway Project.
3. Ld. Counsel further submits that the applicant had submitted another representation dated 18.04.2025 (Annexure A/9) to the General Manager, South Eastern Railway and other Respondent Authorities on the same issue.
4. Ld. Counsel further submits that the applicant has not received any reply on the aforesaid representations. He also submits that he would be satisfied at this stage, if direction is issued to the respondents to consider the aforesaid representations and to take a decision on the same at the earliest.
5. Mr. B.K. Banerjee, Ld. Standing Counsel on behalf of the respondents is present. He submits that he has no objection, if such direction is issued upon the respondent.
6. The competent respondent authority is directed to consider the representations of the applicant dated 23.09.2024 and 18.04.2025 as per the extant rules and policy within a period of 02 (two) months after receipt of a certified copy of this order.
7. It is made clear that we have not entered into the merits of the case and that all points are kept open for consideration.
8. The O.A. is accordingly disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
