Through the medium of instant TA the petitioner prays for quashing of impugned order No.541 of 2020 dated 08.02.2020 issued by DGP, J&K Police including any appointment order issued in favour of the candidate post issuance of the impugned order and for quashing of selection of the private respondents for the post of constable in RBA category in district Shopian pursuant to advertisement No.PERS-A- 38/2016/59220-320 dated 08.10.2016.

2. Applicant has also prayed for interim relief to stay the operation of the selection of the private respondents for the post of constable in RBA category in district Shopian or in alternative one post in RBA category in district Shopian be not filled up.

3. Brief facts of the case of the petitioner is narrated as under:-

(i) The Director General of Police J&K Srinagar/Jammu vide advertisement notice bearing No.PERS-A-38/2016/59220- 320 dated 08.10.2016 invited application from the permanent resident of J&K for recruitment of Constable in IRP battalions/ Armed/ Executive Police in the Pay Band– 1 in the pay scale of 5200-20200 + GP 1900 in accordance with provisions of J&K Special Recruitment Rules 2015 notified v
