The applicant seeking interest on delayed payment of gratuity has filed this OA praying for following reliefs:

a) To give direction/directions, order/orders to the respondents to pay interest on Gratuity at the rate of GPF interest for the delayed period from 31.08.2014 to the date of actual payment.

b) Any other order as this Hon’ble Tribunal may deem fit and proper.

2. The brief facts of the case as inter alia averred in the OA is that while the applicant was working as Draftsman Div 1 a disciplinary proceeding was initiated against him on 01.08.2012 and he retired from service on 31.08.2014 but his gratuity etc were withheld. It is submitted that in OA No. 682/2012 the disciplinary proceeding was quashed vide order dated 17.01.2023. It is submitted that vide order dated 03.07.2023 passed in RA No. 04 of 2023 arising out of OA No. 786/2016, this Tribunal had given opportunity to the applicant to file appropriate representation before the Competent Authority for grant of gratuity in his favour. It is submitted that vide order dated 10.03.2022 passed in OA No. 786/2016, this Tribunal had directed the respondents to pay the applicant interest
