1. The SWP/WP(C) No. 1302/2015 was transferred from the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu and Kashmir at Jammu and was registered as T.A. No. 61/8195/2021 by the Registry of this Tribunal.

2. The present matter was filed before the Hon’ble High Court with following prayer:

a) “For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of certiorari whereby quashing the Corrigendum dated 28.04.2015 bearing No. DIP/J-657 issued by respondent no. 2 published in daily newspaper in its issue dated 30.04.2015, by virtue of which, the selection of the petitioner as Class-IV employee under Scheduled Caste Category has been cancelled which is patently illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the Rules.

b) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus whereby directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Class-IV employee, in view of his selection made by the respondent no.2.
