Briefly the applicants (04 in number) filed O.A. jointly challenging the action of the respondents department in not including their names in the merit list of AAO LDCE 2018 even though they have secured more than 40 marks, in each papers and more marks than the last UR candidate whose name placed in the merit list, of AAO, LDCE 2018.

2. Respondents contested this case by filing counter. The matter was heard and finally, the O.A. was dismissed by this Bench vide order dated 20.01.2025 by observing as under:-

“As per the record, Sri Swagat Kumar Gauna, Sri Prasant Kumar Mallick and Sri Dandapani Kalpeswar Digitaly signed by Kalpeswar Behera DN: cn=Kalpeswar Behera, o=Central Administrative Tribunal Behera, admittedly juniors to the applicants, had joined in LSG cadre on 13.04.2018, 18.05.2018 and 19.04.2018 respectively whereas the applicants joined in LSG in January, 2018.
