01. The petitioner, through the medium of this petition seeks a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to grant ex-post facto sanction in her favour for reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by her on the treatment of Ascending Arto Replacement with further direction to the respondents to disburse the amount incurred by her on medical expenses on the said treatment.
02/ What stems out of the pleadings made in the petition is that the petitioner is a teacher serving in the Education Department, and presently serving in Zone Dooru, Anantnag, and has discharged her duties with utmost dedication and to the satisfaction of her superiors. It is stated that the petitioner suddenly experienced acute pain in her shoulders due to which she had to be rushed to a nearby hospital, where, on examination, she was advised to visit Govt. Medical College, Anantnag for cardiography. Accordingly, on 27-02-2024, the petitioner visited the said medical college and upon examination by the doctors and after performing the Echo – cardiography, she was diagnosed with ‘Grossly Pulmonary Dilated Artery (PDA)’ and was accordingly advised its immediate closure.
