The applicants in these cases are the retired (voluntary retired) employees of BSNL. They are aggrieved by reduction of their pension with retrospective effect and recovery of the excess payment. Since issue involved in all these Original Applications is common and identical, hence all the eight OAs are being disposed of by way of this common order. For the purpose of this order, reference is being made to the averments made and the documents annexed in Original Application No.200/444/2020.

2. Brief facts of the case are that the applicant was initially appointed in the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) and joined on 21.06.1984. Later on, he was promoted to TES Group B in July, 1994. He was further promoted to the Executive AGM/De (adhoc) in IDA pay scale of Rs.29100- 54500 vide order dated 19.07.2013 (Annexure A-1). The pay of the applicant was consequentially fixed as Rs.44500 (68%)/46960 (78.2%) on 27.07.2013, which was further re-fixed as Rs.47220 (68%)/49830 (78.2%) on 01.10.2013. Subsequently, applicant was promoted to the post of DGM (adhoc) from 01.08.2014 in IDA pay scale 32900-58000 and his pay was fixed as Rs.49,830/- on 01.08.2014
