1. The applicants had filed two separate writ petitions before the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir at Jammu, bearing SWP No. 221/2017 titled Mohd. Manaz & Others V/s Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri & Others, and SWP No. 631/2017 titled Shahzad Ahmed & Others V/s Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri & Others, based on substantially similar facts and grounds in both the petitions, the applicants have sought the following relief:
a) To allow the present petition and quash communication bearing No. BGSBU/Estab/16/6605 dated 23-12-2016.
b) To quash order No. BGSBU/Reg/16/1075-99 dated 13-02-2016 passed by respondent no. 1 to the extent, it revises the pay scale of petitioners from 5200-
