MA No.3362/2025 has been filed by the applicants seeking permission of this Tribunal to join together in a single OA. For the reasons mentioned therein, the MA is allowed.

The applicants, who are the retired teachers from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) have filed the instant OA under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, seeking the following relief (s) :-

(i)That the Hon'ble Tribunal may further graciously be pleased to pass an order declaring to the effect that the whole action of the respondents for not considering the request of the applicants for placing them in GPF-cum-Pension scheme is illegal, arbitrary and discriminatory and consequently, pass directing the respondents to treat the applicants as governed by GPF cum pension scheme, with all consequential benefits including granting the service pension from the date of retirement with arrears and interest by way of extending the benefits of judgment in case of Mrs. Gurmail Kaur VS UOI & Ors. with connected cases decided by Hon'ble CAT Jaipur Bench.

(ii) Any other relief which the Hon'ble Tribunal deem fit and proper may also be granted to the applicant with the cost of litigation.”

2. The facts of the case, as enumerated by the learned counsel for the applicants, are that the applicants are pre 1986 appointees in KVS and were placed in CPF scheme. Learned counsel for the applicants submitted that on the recommendations of the 4^th CPC, the Govt. Vide OM dated Digitally signed by RACHNA KAPOOR 01.05.1987 decided to change o ver the Central Govt.
