The present O.A. has been filed by the applicant seeking following reliefs:-

“a) To allow the applicant to appear as “Defense Assistant” in Departmental Proceedings pending against Respondent No.5.

b) Grant any ad interim ex-parte reliefs in the aforementioned terms; and c) Cost of this Application and incidentals may also be provided in favour of the applicant.

2. This Tribunal vide order dated 03.03.2025 observed as under:-

“The applicant is seeking the relief of appointing himself as Defense Assistant of respondent no.5. It appears that inquiry is initiated against respondent no.5 in which respondent no.5 had sought the assistance of the applicant as his Defense Assistant. This application came to be rejected by the Inquiry Officer. The applicant has challenged this order before this Tribunal.

2. I have heard learned counsel for the applicant.

3. The applicant doesn’t have locus. Therefore, list the matter on 19^th March, 2025 before the Division Bench as while sitting singally, no order of dismissal can be passed.”

3. Thereafter, the matter was listed on 19.03.2025 and 07.04.2025. On the said date time was sought on behalf of the applicant. O
