1. In the instant OA, the applicants being aggrieved with the show cause notice dated 07.01.2025 issued by the DRM (E), Ahmedabad Division, i.e. the Respondent No. 2 herein whereby it was conveyed to the applicant that they were placed on panel for the promotion to the post of Staff & Welfare Inspector in Pay Matrix Level-6, against 35 per cent quota as per Memo dated 04.04.2024 and subsequent promotion order to the said post of the Order dated 04.04.2024, in this regard, now the Competent Authority has decided to scrape the panel dated 04.04.2024 on administrative grounds and thereby they will be repatriated to their earlier post. Therefore, in respect to the said course of action, the applicants have been given notice and directed to submit their representation, if any, within a stipulated period, has filed the present OA under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 seeking relief to quash and set aside the impugned show cause notice dated 07.01.2025 (Annexure A/1 collectively) and further pray for issuance of direction upon the respondents to allow the applicants to continue on their promotional post.
