1. The applicant has filed the present Original Application under Section

19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 seeking the following

reliefs: -

a) “allow the instant Original Application;

b) quash the Communication bearing No. Pers/M-218/2016/1287-

88 dt. 07.01.2020 addressed by respondent No. 2 to IGP,

Jammu Zone Jammu, whereby and whereunder, the

representation filed by the applicants for fixation of notional

seniority of the applicants w.e.f. 2010 has been rejected without

assigning any reason;

c) direct the respondents to fix and reckon the seniority of the

applicants on the basis of their merit in the selection process

conducted by PHQ, pursuant to Advertisement dated

31.01.2009 i.e. from the date, other selectees pursuant to the

aforementioned notification were appointed;
