ORDER

Per: - Rajinder Singh Dogra, Judicial Member

1. The applicant has filed the present Original Application under Section

19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 seeking the following

reliefs: -

a) To quash and set aside the GPO no. 1220132474 dated

2.9.2020 to the extent it pertains to the withholding of gratuity

amounting to Rs. 4,12,260/- of the applicant, communication

dated 6.5.2020 and communication dated 8.10.2020.

b) To command and direct the respondents to release the gratuity

amounting to Rs 4,12,260/- withheld by the respondents along

with 7.5% interest in favour of the applicant.

c) Any other order or direction which this Hon’ble Tribunal deems

appropriate and considers the applicants entitled thereto be

also issued.

a) The applicant, Shakti Kumar, was appointed as a Teacher in

the School Education Department in the year 1989. On the basis

of seniority, merit and satisfactory service record, he was

promoted to the post of Master in the year 2006. He continued
