1.The applicant, in this Original Application is challenging the selection of respondent No. 5 on the post of Junior Engineer QA ignoring the claim of the applicant for the said post.

2. The brief facts of the case is that the applicant was initially appointed on 06.01.1983 as Craftsman in the Corps of Electronic Mechanical Engineering (EME) and posted at 3 EME Centre, Bhopal. The applicant was promoted as Havildar Major (Technical HMT) after completion of 9 years of service and after passing entrance examination of Diploma in Armament Engineering. The applicant was further promoted as Naib Subedar Technical on 01.04.1999 and thereafter, he was promoted as Subedar Technical on 01.09.2003. The applicant was retired from service of Armed Force on 31.01.2013. After retirement . from Armed Force, the applicant was appointed as Fitter Skilled in the . pay scale of Rs.5,200-20,200/- + G.P. of Rs.1,900/ on 01.02.2013 in the 506 Army Base Workshop, Jabalpur against ex-serviceman quota.
