8.2 That your Lordships may further be pleased to direct/command the respondents to release/pay the settlement dues of late Shazid Nehal henceforth with statutory interest in favour of applicants as per the Nomination/declaration given by the deceased father during his life time, admitted by the Respondents in Annexure A/1 itself.

8.3 That the Respondents be further directed to grant all consequential benefits in favour of the Applicants for which they are legally entitled too.

8.4 Any other relief or reliefs may deem fit and proper including the cost of the proceeding at the tune of Rs. two lacs may be allowed in favour of the Applicants for un-necessary harassment.”

2. According to the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the applicants, the factual matrix of the case before us is that applicants are the married daughters of Late Shazid Nehal who was Ex. Chief Trains Clerk, East Central Railway, Danapur. Father of the applicants took voluntary retirement on 31.10.2019 but Railway Authorities have paid them only GPF amount but they did not pay any amount on account of other retiral benefits without any reason as there was no departmental proceeding/inquiry or criminal proceeding was pending against him.
